Through this publication we invite you to take a tour of some of the most outstanding moments of the intense 2021-2022 academic year, which will conclude in the coming days with the defense of the End of Study Projects (TFE), and the gaze set on the start of the next course. There are many events to load, so we ask you for a little patience to load the full page 🙂

September 2021

The ESI prepared to receive the students and applied changes to your corporate image, maintaining its essence.

On September 16 we kicked off with the course presentation. In a first session we received the new first-year students and, later, those from the rest of the courses.

Some of the new students already had their first contact with the School in the Course 0 of Mathematics and Physics the September 9.

After the presentations, the students were gradually adapting to the day to day of the School

October 2021

Holy button!, one of the most special weeks of the entire course. Day of coexistence full of cultural and leisure activities, where our students learn and put into practice the knowledge acquired. This week was the XNUMXth business conference with numerous participation from both the academic and business sides.

Santa Tecla's agenda included, among other activities: Hackathon, capture the flag (cybersecurity test), open-air theater, sports and e-sports competitions, chess tournament...

On Thursday afternoon/evening we celebrated the graduation ceremony 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 at the Luis Arroyo Auditorium, with Gracia Sánchez Vizcaíno as godmother of both promotions

From the initial months of the course we tried to echo the activity carried out at the School and the benefits they can bring to society. Some examples were: an interview with Professor Luis Jiménez by regional television media about Artificial Intelligence applied to sport, an activity on "Green Software and AI" by the Green Team Alarcos, or the interview by Investiga CMM with Carlos González about our communication skills:

Juan Gabriel Gomila Salas also visited us to give the conference "Techniques to be a good Game Designer" and participate as a guest professor in the Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, in the subject of Virtual and Augmented Reality.

Professor Mario Piattini and Professor Maria José Santofimia received the Grace Hooper awards for computer scientist of the year and for best European project, respectively, by COIICLM

In January 2022 the HEI student visits to the School for whom we had prepared a guided tour of our facilities. Some of the visitors will be new students in the 2022-2023 academic year

The first test of the computer olympics with the IES of Castilla-La Mancha
