Degree in Computer Engineering bilingual option


Mastering a foreign language, and more specifically English, is a differentiating factor for professionals in the computer world, since it allows access to a global market that, even in the current situation, continues to demand professionals throughout the world. the world.

The University of Castilla-La Mancha, through its Campus of International Excellence, incorporates the possibility of studying the Degree in Computer Engineering in a bilingual option, by offering a number of subjects that, during the different courses, can be taken in English.

This possibility offers an ideal framework for those students who intend to achieve high professional qualifications and an even more competitive position upon completion of their studies, spend a year at foreign universities, etc.

Obtaining the title

To obtain the title of Graduate in Computer Engineering - bilingual option, it will be necessary to study a minimum of 40% of the total load of ECTS credits.

All subjects taken in English will appear in the European Supplement to the Degree in Computer Engineering.

Matriculation year

To access the Degree in Computer Engineering - bilingual option, interested students must meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • Accredit level B1 (or equivalent) of English.
  • Have obtained a minimum grade of 7 (Excellent) in the language test (English) of the Degree Studies Access Tests.
  • Pass the entrance test to be held in September.

New students who choose to take the bilingual option will have a period of 15 days at the beginning of each semester to modify their enrollment and switch to groups taught in Spanish.

The subjects offered in the bilingual option may be taken by any student of the Degree in Computer Engineering, although students who are taking the bilingual option will have priority if there is more demand than places offered.
