Certifications for students of the U. Master in Computer Engineering
With the aim that our Master's students have complementary training in emerging technologies that allow them to be better prepared for their labor insertion, from the ESI we promote the completion of professional certifications.
In the 2021/2022 academic year, two professional certifications have been offered to students of the master's degree, Scrum Master and of ITIL-4.
Previously, the ESI has also promoted the completion of the following certifications: ISTQB Foundation Software Testing or Blockchain (IBM), among others.
Certifications for faculty and staff hired for R&D projects
With the aim that our teachers are updated to offer better training to our students, the ESI proposes a permanent training plan for teachers and as part of this it considers professional certifications essential.
The courses that have been completed or that will be developed shortly are detailed below:
- In the second semester of 2022, two courses will be taught to subsequently obtain certifications in AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials delivered by professionals from IT INSTITUTE y Management 3.0. delivered by professionals from 233 Degrees of IT.
- In the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, the course on “CPSA® - Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Foundation Level” belonging to the certification scheme of International Software Architecture Qualification Board (ISAQB), taught by Gustavo Márquez Sosa.
- Previously, the ESI has promoted the completion of the following certifications: OCA Fundamentals of Programming 8 in Java, OCP Fundamentals of Programming 8 in Java, OCA Exam SQL Fundamentals for Oracle 12c, LPIC-1 Exam, SAP, CISA, PMP, ITIL, Scrum Master, etc.
