ESI professors in the National Ranking of Women Researchers published by CSIC

In June 2022, the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) has published a Ranking of Spanish and foreign researchers working in Spain according to data from their personal public profiles on Google Scholar, a ranking consisting of the 5000 researchers ordered according to the highest index h and secondarily by number of citations.

The objective is to increase the visibility of our researchers and their work using a public tool that is easy to create and consult and whose coverage is not only much greater but also less biased than others commonly used.

In the Ranking appear 42 researchers from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) and, among them, 3 professors from the Higher School of Informatics: Coral Calero, Marcela Genero and Aurora Vizcaíno. Among these 42 researchers, the ESI professors occupy positions 2, 7 and 19 respectively. In the ranking, in addition, our beloved Camelia Muñoz (already deceased) appears in the 40th position of the 42 companions of the UCLM.

From here we want to congratulate all the colleagues of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and, especially, the teachers of the School for this merit.
