Commissions dependent on the School Board

1. Strategy and Study Plans

This commission will be in charge of aspects related to academic strategy, including research and innovation, and the academic offer of the School in the form of bachelor's and master's study plans, for which it will submit reports and make proposals to the Center Board.

2. Quality assurance and teaching innovation

This commission, which corresponds to the one contemplated in art. 24.3 of the ROFRIOCG and in the reports of the graduate and master's degrees of the ESI, it will have the functions defined in the SGIC-UCLM. In addition, it will develop guidelines and make proposals on teaching innovation and educational technologies. At least the director of the School, as president, the deputy director in charge of the quality of degrees, as secretary, and the coordinators of the degree (a), bilingual degree (b) and master's degree (c), as well as as a representation of the course and intensification coordinators (d).

3. Academic Committee of the Master in Computer Engineering

This academic commission is specific to the Master in Computer Engineering, and its functions and structure are established in arts. 6.11 and 16 of the REDANEMU.

4. Employability and Permanent Training

This commission will have the task of promoting relations with the business environment and external internship programs, as well as carrying out initiatives to promote the entrepreneurial character of our students. Likewise, he will be in charge of his own teachings. By delegation of the School Board, it will be empowered to resolve the authorizations for the teaching of own degrees of less than 15 ECTS duration.

5. Social Responsibility, Culture and Sport

This commission will be in charge of organizing cultural, sports, outreach and scientific culture activities and related to social responsibility programs. It will also be responsible for the management of the bibliographic collections of the center

6. Academic organization and Final Projects

This commission will have as its mission the treatment of the academic aspects related to the daily administrative management of the center, such as transfers of files, validations, changes of groups, compensatory subjects and any other academic issue of a general administrative nature, as well as the management of all the process related to the Final Degree Projects (TFG) and Final Master's Projects (TFM), except in what corresponds to the academic commission of the master's degrees. A delegate from the School Board will have the capacity to resolve these matters.

7. Court of review and evaluation of qualifications

This commission will be in charge of resolving, with reason, the possible claims of final grades made by the students, in accordance with arts. 19 and 20 of the Student Evaluation Regulation.

8. Promotion, Communication and Dissemination

This commission will be responsible for defining the promotion strategy of the center and its degrees, including activity in social media. Specifically, it will organize and carry out the most appropriate actions to attract students and to promote ESI in society. He will also participate in the design of the Santa Tecla Festivities and the anniversaries of the School. To do this, it will submit proposals and reports to the School Board.

9. Smart ESI and digital services

This committee will be responsible for defining the Smart ESI project and establishing the management policy for the School's computer resources, as well as aspects related to quality of life and job security. 10. Evaluation Commission for Extraordinary Awards in official studies

This commission will be in charge of determining who are the best students, in each academic year in the studies of the ESI, to award them the prize for the best record.

11. Equality Commission

This commission contributes to the dissemination of the UCLM Equality Plan among all members of the university community (PDI, PAS and students) of the center. It ensures compliance with the UCLM Equality Plan among the entire university community of the center, committing itself to notify the Equality and Diversity Unit of any breaches of which it is aware. Organizes and collaborates in training and information activities related to equality between women and men, the promotion of STEM vocations and women in Engineering. It also organizes and collaborates in dissemination and knowledge transfer activities aimed at publicizing research carried out by women or related to gender equality, carried out in any case by the center's staff. Finally, it encourages the initiatives of the entire university community of the center in terms of equality, as well as preventing, raising awareness and eradicating gender violence in it.
