2024 national ranking of best IS researchers

The teachers of the Higher School of Informatics Mario Piattini y Eduardo Fernandez-Medina, appear in the latest update of the ranking prepared by the DIH group, in which the best researchers in Spain in various research fields such as Agriculture, Biology, Materials Sciences, Health CC, Earth CC, Physics, Computer Science, Other Engineering, Mathematics and Chemistry. Specifically, professors Mario P. and Eduardo F. occupy the 1st and 4th positions in the Software Engineering category, belonging to the Computer Science research field.

The prominent position of both professors at the School places the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the province of Ciudad Real, in fourth position nationally if the number of outstanding researchers per province is taken into account, and second position if the average Fhm is taken into account as a priority criterion. The Fhm index evaluates the quality of researchers. It is based on the h-index, which measures the citations received for your work. The Fhm compares your h-index to the average for your area and is useful for comparing researchers in different fields and provinces.
