Collaborative Mobile App for Shared Nature Excursions

Sergio Garrido Merino presents his Final Degree Project (TFG) entitled “Collaborative mobile application for excursions in nature“, an innovative solution developed under the FRAWA project, funded by the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha. The application enables real-time collaboration between users in natural environments, leveraging GPS technology and mobile networks, facilitating shared exploration of the real world. The application, developed with the Flutter and Firebase framework, offers functionalities such as the creation of excursions, invitations to other users, a map shared in real time, image sharing, group chat, and emergency notifications. In addition, it provides weather information, an activity history and the ability to explore the environment and customize the user profile. The project stands out for its originality, scalability and an attractive and easy-to-use user interface. The TFG was tutored by Crescencio Bravo Santos and Ana Isabel Molina of the CHICO research group, and won first prize from the AULA CGI-UCLM in the III Turing Machine Awards to the best End of Studies Projects (TFE).
