The user can consult the progress of the disease worldwide and nationally, as well as by autonomous communities and provinces

The Alarcos research group of the Higher School of Computer Science of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) at the Ciudad Real Campus has developed an application websites that allows interactive and graphic consultation of official data on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic

The page, in Spanish and very "intuitive and easy to use" for anyone without technical knowledge, has been developed by the UCLM professor Francisco Ruiz González and takes as its source the data collected by the European Center for the Prevention and Control of Diseases (ECDC).

In a first dashboard, the web user will be able to consult maps, graphs and data worldwide and by country, week by week or by month, of the evolution of the pandemic, being able to make a comparison. A second dashboard offers similar information for Spain and its autonomous communities and provinces.

The web comes to light after almost three months of work and improvements and for its development and final presentation, its author has taken into account the opinion of professionals from various countries. The initiative is one of the dissemination and transfer activities carried out by the Ciudad Real School of Computing.
