A group of 14 foreign professors from Universities, Vocational Training Centers and Secondary Education Institutes from Lithuania, Cyprus, Italy, Portugal and Spain visited the Higher School of Informatics on March 19, interested in learning about lines of work in teaching and research directly related to Virtual Reality.

The project they intend to develop aims to publicize the potential offered by new technologies, especially virtual reality through the development of virtualized environments, tools or products focused on the technical teachings taught by the partners (automotive, computing, health, electronics , electricity) so that everyone can access technical resources at low cost but without losing quality of training.

During the visit, the teachers had the opportunity to learn first-hand experiences of the subject Virtual and Augmented Reality, of the Master's Degree in Computer Engineering full UCLM, as well as some results obtained by the AIR Research Group in the lines of Virtual Reality applied to sports, the rehabilitation of the upper limbs in patients with spinal cord damage, and the creation of immersive shopping spaces.
