Leonardo Scholarships from the BBVA Foundation

The Leonardo scholarships for the BBVA Foundation are intended to support the work of researchers and cultural creators that, being in intermediate stages of his career, are characterized by a trajectory highly innovative scientific, technological or cultural.
By giving these scholarships the name of Leonardo da Vinci, we want to emphasize the characteristic attributes of that universal figure of culture, notably the passion for knowledge, the opening and exploration of new fields and problems, the interaction between theoretical work and observational or experimental, as well as dialogue and feedback between the domains of natural and life sciences, technology, humanities and the arts.
In accordance with its name, the "Leonardo Scholarships" are aimed at facilitating the development of individual projects that address significant and novel facets of current scientific, technological and cultural objects and issues, freely chosen by their authors.
