Building Robotic Friends: Science and Fun!

Laura Villa y Celia Diaz, the mami research group, participated in the commemoration of 11/XNUMX, Day of Women and Girls in Science, with a workshop titled “Building Robotic Friends: Science and Fun!” on February 20, 2024. This event, part of the “Ciudad Real Science House” project and promoted by the Association of Cultural and Scientific Industries, took place in the Serendipity Space.

The workshop sought to inspire boys and girls in science and technology, showing them the practical application in robotics and highlighting the importance of female participation in these areas. Thus, Laura and Celia shared their research experience within the mommy group for the University of Castilla-La Mancha, promoting scientific interest among the youngest and promoting gender equality in the scientific field.
