Photocall of UCLM Scientists

On Friday 9 February, between the 11:00 and 14:00 hrs. hours, in the vicinity of the Polytechnic Building on the Ciudad Real campus, the Photocall of UCLM Scientists with red carpet on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

All women from the university community (students, professors, researchers, PAS), professors and students from non-university educational centers, and all those women who want to come are invited to the event. Participants are encouraged to characterize themselves as scientists, wearing or carrying an object such as gowns, glasses, gloves, laboratory supplies, computer keyboard, calculator, helmet, wrench or books. Tables will be placed near the photocall with material for the characterization, but it will be appreciated if women bring their own material.

There will be volunteers taking the photos and uploading them to the Mujeres Ingeniosas Instagram account. Photos uploaded to Instagram accounts are encouraged to be tagged with #SoycientificaUCLM. Also, two prizes will be given for the best characterization of Scientific Woman, an individual prize and another in a group, which will be decided taking into account the likes on Instagram obtained until February 15. Finally, we will try to ensure that the event has the greatest possible media impact.
