Professor Ismael Caballero receives the COIICLM 2023 award

Next Monday, November 27, the Hotel Doña Carlota in Ciudad Real will be the scene of the tenth edition of the COIICLM 2023 Computing Awards, granted by the Official College of Computer Engineering of Castilla-La Mancha.

This year, the COIICLM grants an award to Professor Ismael Caballero Muñoz-Reja in the CATEGORY: COMPUTER TRAINING AND AWARENESS, recognizing his outstanding work as a researcher in the area of ​​Government and Data Quality at the UCLM.

Additionally, the celebration recognizes ingenuity and innovation in various categories. José Antonio del Rey, from VEOLIA, receives the award in the CATEGORY: STARTUP/INNOVATIVE SME, while Dr. Cristina Romero is awarded for her Mammowave Project in the CATEGORY: MOST OUTSTANDING PUBLIC PROJECT.

INETUM will also be honored for its CRM and Contact Center system for the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha in the CATEGORY: PRIVATE ENTREPRENEURIAL INITIATIVE, and the QSERV Project receives the award in the CATEGORY: R&D&I INNOVATION PROJECT.

COMITAS E-HEALTH wins in the CATEGORY: MOST OUTSTANDING PRIVATE PROJECT for its AI solution against cancer, and EBORATIC takes the award in the CATEGORY: COMPUTER DISCLOSURE.

The CATEGORY: INNOVATIVE SOFTWARE SOLUTION is divided into two awards this year: ATURNOS for its innovative personal planning with AI, and the Faculty of Communication of the UCLM for its information generation project with AI.

Finally, the 'GRACE HOOPER' SPECIAL PRIZE on WORLD COMPUTING DAY is awarded to Carlos Manuel Fernandez Sánchez, Engineer/Atty. in Computer Science and collaborator at UCLM, for his exceptional contribution to the field.
