Video-Summary: VI Business Conference
On Tuesday, November 7, the Higher School of Informatics successfully celebrated the VI Business Day, as part of the week of Santa Tecla 2023. The event, whose main objective was to create job opportunities for students, had the participation of more than 150 students and nearly 20 companies. Below you can see a video summary of the activity.
The companies that participated in the panels were Inetum, GlobalSuite, CGI, Minsait/Indra, Itestra, Docpath, Zennio, NTT Data, Cojali, Madrija, Grupo Orenes, Tecnobit/Grupo Oesia, aTurnos, Alpinia, Ubotica Technologies, Procesia, Zepo, SDGgroup, Orienteed. These companies had the opportunity to identify young talent, increase their visibility among students and the educational community, share information about the latest trends and technological advances, and begin to cultivate early professional relationships with our students.
The institutional opening was carried out by the vice-rector of Studies, Quality and Accreditation, José Manuel Chicharro, the General Director of Universities of the JCCM, Ricardo Cuevas, the Mayor of Ciudad Real, Francisco Cañizares, the Provincial Delegate of Economy, Business and Employment of the JCCM, Agustín Espinosa, and the Academic Director of the Vice-Rector's Office for Innovation, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Virginia Rodríguez. On behalf of the School, its director, Crescencio Bravo, and the deputy director of Employability and Social Responsibility, Marcela Genero, were present.
The day's activities began with the reception of companies and students, followed by the company panels. After a brief coffee break, the official opening of the Conference took place. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to visit the companies' stands in the ESI hall and participate in exchange tables. The days concluded with the humor of Diego Daño.
