Four colleagues from the ESI recognized by the UCLM

La University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) today, in the Martínez Ataz Auditorium of the Ciudad Real Campus, the administrative act of taking possession of the new professors and tenured professors who obtained a place in the 2022/2023 academic year, and of recognition of the teaching staff and researcher (PDI) and administration and services (PAS) who in the same academic year completed 25 years of services provided. During the event, several members were recognized, including four colleagues from the Higher School of Informatics: Mario Piattini Velthuis, Jose Angel Olivas Varela, Jesus Fontecha Diezma y David Cerrillo Cerrillo.

Piattini, Olivas and Cerrillo were recognized for their 25 years of service at UCLM, a figure achieved during the 2022-2023 academic year. Jesús Fontecha Diezma, on the other hand, was sworn in and took office as Full Professor of the University during the ceremony.

The event was chaired by the Rector, Dr. José Julián Garde López-Brea, accompanied by the General Secretary, Dr. Isabel Gallego Córcoles, the Vice-Rector for Students, Dr. Ms. Ángela Carrasco Gutiérrez, the Vice-Rector for Faculty and Professional and Student Development, Ana Isabel Briones, and the Manager of the UCLM, Matilda Yebra.
