Past the equator of the ordinary call for 2C exams

Arriving at the 7th day of exams, we are approaching the end of the ordinary call for the second semester in the 2022-2023 academic year. The day has started with our first graders and the subject exam Information systems.

The subject is integrated into the matter of "Software Engineering, Information Systems and Intelligent Systems” of the study plan and provides a transversal and integrating vision of the Computer Science context, relating business and entrepreneurial aspects, with the objectives of Information Technology (IT). For this, the global basic concepts handled in Computer Science (engineering, abstraction, model, system, project, process, information) are introduced, to then arrive at the idea of ​​computer system (hardware+software+data); and from there, to the more global Information System (IS) as a special type of socio-technical system (with technological and human, social and organizational elements) whose objective is to satisfy the information needs of an organization. Thanks to the horizontal vision of the computing activity provided by the subject, the student can better understand the role that each subject and each part of Computer Science plays in the whole.

In the afternoon it is the turn of our third year students to take the Declarative Programming, Network Infrastructure Design, Database Development and Information Systems Management exams.
