Improving the quality of life of people with autism

Last Wednesday, April 19, the ESI professors, Ms. Ana Isabel Molina and Ms. Carmen Lacave, representing the CHICO group, together with the professor from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Talavera de la Reina, Mr. Abel Toledano, and the technical director of the Regional Association of People Affected by Autism and Other Developmental Disorders (AUTRADE), Ms. Patricia Hernández del Mazo, held a meeting with the president of the Autism Federation of Castilla-La Mancha, Ms. Cristina Gómez, and her program coordinator, Ms. Laura Morón with the aim of showing the progress made in the development of an application for people with ASD, within the framework of the APTEA research project (TED2021-131956B-I00) and within of the collaboration agreement that exists between AUTRADE and the UCLM (Ref. 220413CONV). Among other issues, the bases for the creation of another collaboration agreement between the Federation and the UCLM have been defined, with the aim of continuing to work on the development of technological solutions that improve the quality of life of both people with autism and its environment.
