4th grade students design the new BM Pozuelo website

Saturday, 9 ESI students attended the handball game that faced the Spartans of the Soliss BM Pozuelo de Calatrava against the leader of the Women's Gold Honor Division, Lobas Global ATAC Oviedo. It was a vibrant match, a new feat for the Spartans, who although they started losing, never gave up or stopped believing and ended up winning 25-22.

Our students have been working since the beginning of the course on the design and development of a web e-commerce solution for the Club BM Pozuelo de Calatrava, as a project of the Electronic Commerce subject, taught by our colleague José Jesús Castro. Throughout this time, and separated into two groups (Honradez Group, formed by Oscar Escabias, Alberto García, Juan José García, Pablo Martín and Laura Pérez; Confianza Group formed by Daniel Romero, Miguel Ángel Sánchez, José Ramón Serrano, David Valbuena and Alejandro Villamayor), have designed and developed two proposals for websites that perfectly convey what the BM Pozuelo de Calatrava Club is, and to which they have added the possibility of selling the club's merchandising products online. Both proposals were recently presented to the club, which summoned them to Saturday's game to let them know their decision on which one would be chosen.

So, on Saturday after the game, the club's president, Eusebio Angulo, told our students which of the two proposals would remain as the official website of the BM Pozuelo de Calatrava club. The president thanked the students and professor for the excellent work they had done and highlighted the great difficulty they had had in selecting one, given the high quality of the two proposals presented. In the end, due to small details, they kept the one that the Confianza team had presented. The teacher thanked all the students for their work, their effort and involvement in the project.

Now it's up to the Confianza y profesor group to finish some parts of the website with the club, before it is presented to society and remains published and accessible on the internet.

We as a center feel very proud of this type of experience and the professional work that our students do. We are already looking forward to sharing it publicly. We congratulate the students and the professor for this type of learning experiences that they carry out in the Electronic Commerce subject.
