The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) considers changes in the methodology, in the form of evaluation, disciplinary measures and the use of computer tools that are necessary to detect content generated through ChatGPT, a chat system with Artificial Intelligence that It has surprised everyone since its launch on November 30. The Vice Chancellor for Students, Ángeles Carrasco, is in favor of adapting to the new times and maintains that this AI could be an opportunity to “rethink things that are already obsolete”.

“I'm not especially worried; This is new and you have to adapt to the new times, ignoring it or prohibiting it is not the way. It is an opportunity to reconsider things that are already obsolete”, says the Vice Chancellor for Students at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Ángeles Carrasco, when asked about the impact of ChatGPT on university education, a system with Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is surprising everyone due to, among other things, its ability to respond to what is requested.
