Giant Chess Tournament Final

This Wednesday afternoon the final between institutes of the Santa Tecla 2022 Team Giant Chess Tournament will take place, organized by the ESI, with the support of the Ciudad Real City Council, the Chess is Sport school and the participation of the FIDE International Chess Master Ángel Espinosa for the final exhibition game.

In the final, a team from IES Juan de Ávila (Ciudad Real) and a mixed team formed by Colegio San Jose (Ciudad Real), IES Peñalba (Moral de Calatrava), IES Máximo Laguna (Santa Cruz de Mudela) will face each other. and the IES Juan de Ávila (Ciudad Real).

The final will start at 16:30 p.m. Two games will be played, with a quick tie-break game if necessary. During the games, the teams will be able to use wild cards:

• 3 jokers to request the help of the public for the move to be made.
• 3 wildcards to request computational support to an advanced chess program.
• In the exhibition match, against the champion team, the International Master will have no help wildcards.
