Carlos González Morcillo new Full Professor

The ESI has a new Full Professor, Professor Carlos González Morcillo. On Friday, May 6, the contest was held for the body of University Professors convened by the UCLM for the Department of Information Systems Technologies, with a teaching profile in Operating Systems and a research profile in Immersive Systems for Rehabilitation and a teaching profile in Concurrent Programming and Real Time.

The court was made up of: President: José Jesús Castro Sánchez, Secretary: Crescencio Bravo Santos, Member 1: Coral Calero Muñoz, Member 2: Ana María Moreno Sanchez-Capuchino (Polytechnic University of Madrid), and Member 3: Juan Manuel Dodero Beardo (Cadiz University).

Carlos González Morcillo has been a professor at the Escuela Superior de Informática de Ciudad Real since 2002, where he also previously obtained the title of Superior Engineer in Informatics with the extraordinary end-of-course award for the best record of his class. He is a member of the AIR: Artificial Intelligence and Rendering research group and focuses his research on Mixed Reality and Intelligent Agent systems. Since 2016 he has been the academic director of the UCLM.
