Resicla solidarity project market and help from the esi uclm

One more step for ResiCLA AND HELP towards the 1.000 goal

Yesterday, April 25, the first solidarity market in its history was held at the ESI, organized by the ResiCLA Y AYUDA initiative of Electronic Commerce students and the Delegation of Computer Science Students, whose objective is to raise funds that will go to those affected by the La Palma volcano.

From 9:00 a.m. to 14:30 p.m. in the School Hall, all those supportive people who wanted to could come and collaborate with the initiative: buying or donating products or both. Books, clothes, toys, stuffed animals, music CDs, movie DVDs, soaps, decoration and, above all, merchandising from the esi – uclm were put up for sale at the market. All the products were donated by members of the ESI, with the intention of helping the environment: reducing the waste that is generated (or at least delaying that end) and avoiding the expense of raw materials for the creation of new products, in addition to reduce the pollution that would be produced in its manufacture.

There were 5 and a half hours of solidarity market in which sales worth €250 were achieved, plus €34 (less Paypal commissions) that were achieved from online sales of solidarity teachers who could not go to the face-to-face market, but who still so they wanted to collaborate. In total, €281,97 was obtained. In addition, donations of products that were put up for sale at the market were received. The most demanded products were books and merchandising products.

With the money obtained yesterday at the market (€250), added to what has been achieved with sales through the web (€636,88), the ResiCLA Y AYUDA initiative now amounts to €886,88 per which is only €113,12 short of their goal, which is to reach €1.000.

Thank you very much to all of you who took a little bit of your time to come to the market and collaborate with this solidarity initiative of the ESI.

Do you want to help them achieve the 1.000 goal?

If you couldn't get to the market and you want to collaborate with the initiative, if you want to show solidarity, if you want to help others and the environment, if you want to be part of this entire initiative, if you want to reach the 1.000th goal with them, you can still !
