Spin-Offs of ESI and UCLM awarded at the Open Innovation Castilla-La Mancha

Yesterday the final phase of the first edition of the Open Innovation Castilla-La Mancha was held, organized by the CEEIs (European Centers of Innovation Companies of Castilla-La Mancha). The event consists of the resolution of challenges proposed by the 4 leading companies (Cojali, Róderas y Rivera, Vitae Naturals and Witzenmann) by the entrepreneurs to achieve cooperation between these 'start up' and consolidated regional companies. 24 companies have participated proposing solutions to the 4 challenges. Two of the winning companies of the challenges are Spin-Offs of the UCLM:

• Challenge 'Cojali': Winning start up: Furious Koalas. The Spin-Off of the UCLM established in 2016 Furious Koalas is specialized in immersive systems, artificial intelligence and the development of cloud systems, has 20 years of experience in the projects carried out in the Oreto and AIR research groups of the Higher School of Computing of Ciudad Real. 
• Witzenmann challenge. Winning start-up: Inwire Technologies. Spin-Off in the constitution of the University of Castilla-La Mancha that capitalizes on the more than 20 years of experience of the members of the ARCO research group of the Higher School of Computing of Ciudad Real. Inwire offers custom engineering and development services in the field of embedded systems, computer vision, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things
