Data: the core of the IT strategy

The next Friday November 29 the ESI welcomes the sixth edition of the avanttic_days. On this occasion, and under the title of Data: the core of the IT strategy, the conference will focus on different aspects related to the treatment and management of information using Oracle technology: ETL and Business Intelligence tools, Engineered Systems optimized for Oracle Database, SQL / NoSQL / Big Data data warehouses, Oracle Autonomous Database and Engineered Systems optimized for Oracle Database.

Several consultants avanttic  They will introduce the different technologies and present numerous real projects: problems, architecture of the solution and benefits obtained.

We will have the participation of WeDo (Oracle Presale initiative), whose team has built several models to show, in a real and practical way, how organizations can be transformed through the use of Oracle technology.

The model (virtual this time) that WeDo will show is called Gigi's Pizza and is oriented to DevOps. Using multimodal databases, various microservices, Oracle Developer Cloud Service, and other Oracle Cloud services, the mockup simulates the management of a pizzeria: a chatbot places an order, a microservice (orchestrator) receives the order and saves it in JSON format in a database, and finally, through a delivery app, our "pizza chef" receives instructions on the fastest route to deliver the order. A layer of Big Data is added to this whole process.
