Telcaria Ideas needs graduates to fill positions as Network Virtualization Engineers
Telcaria Ideas is a leading company in advanced NFV/SDN products and fifth generation networks. We are looking for technicians with a Bachelor's degree (and preferably also a Master's degree) in Telecommunication, Telematics or Computer Engineering, and who are interested in creating disruptive products based on open technologies to incorporate them into our Development Department. The objective is to design and develop network virtualization software systems for leading companies in the sector, within the framework of pan-European collaboration projects.
Requirements
- Studies: Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in one of the branches of Telecommunications or Computer Science.
- Languages: High written and oral level of English.
Essential knowledge:
- Advanced Java programming experience
- Experience developing scripts/programs in Python
- Knowledge and experience with Linux systems
- Knowledge of IP routing and switching protocols
Desirable knowledge:
- In addition, experience or knowledge in any of the following technologies will be highly valued:
- Cloud: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud, Openstack, Kubernetes), including their respective automation tools.
- Automation: Knowledge of tools and platforms such as Chef, Puppet and/or Ansible.
- Virtualization: Management and deployment of virtualization elements; virtual machines, containers (LXC and/or Docker) and virtual networks on Linux.
- Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of Spring and its respective dependencies.
- SDN Frameworks: Familiar with ONOS and building SDN applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/Centos), including being familiar with its network tools, configuring network interfaces and services.
- Networking: Knowledge of enterprise network architecture and some of the following protocols; ARP, NDP, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, GRE, VxLAN, Ipsec, OSPF, and BGP.
