2nd Edition of Hack Space
It will be held on December 14, 2018 at the ESI
El HackSpace is an initiative launched in October 2018, coinciding with the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM). The purpose of the Hack Space is:
- Inform citizens, companies and institutions of cyber threats and cyber attacks and of the existing mechanisms to counteract them, make them aware of their existence and importance, and provide them with updated information on cyber security and cyber crime.
- Create a network of universities, research centers, public institutions and interested companies to share experiences in this area, as well as promote the production and exchange of useful knowledge to combat cyber threats.
- Share investments, assets and infrastructures that have already been developed by network participants to maximize their impact thanks to institutional collaboration and collective growth.
The first edition of HackSpace took place at the Computer Science Department of the University of Bari, in Italy, on October 1, 2018. The second edition, which gives it the imprint of its desired international character, will be held on December 14th 2018 in the Higher School of Computer Science of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Ciudad Real campus).
Participation in the conference is free, although it is required previous registration.
