Quixotech Forum. Deep Learning: opening the black box

Talk next Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 19:00 p.m. in the ESI Hall of Degrees

This talk will be held next Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 19:00 p.m. in the ESI Graduation Hall.

Fascinating projects such as autonomous vehicles, automatic translators or the concept of commerce proposed in Amazon Go have something in common, the use of a series of artificial intelligence techniques known as deep learning or Deep Learning. Advances in computing capacity and massive data collection have allowed the application of a branch of knowledge that, although its development began several decades ago, is revolutionizing the way machines learn and solve problems.

In this talk, an introduction will be made to the fundamentals on which the operation of some of them is based, comparing it with other machine learning techniques. We will spend some time discussing the keys to the future of artificial intelligence and, in short, we will lose the fear of opening the black box.
