STATEMENT
For the inclusion of specific science and information technology subjects in the basic studies of secondary education and high school.
All employability and career trends reports indicate and underline the need for digital skills training. The European Commission estimates that by the year 2020 a need for nearly 900.000 professionals in the ICT sector could be met. In this context, the European Commission itself, under the name "e-skills", has launched a series of initiatives focused on the promotion of digital skills, with the aim of attracting students and the general public to the ICT sector. , in which information technology has a leading role.
