Bilingual Degree in Computer Engineering
Mastering a foreign language, and more specifically English, is a differentiating factor for professionals in the computer world, since it allows access to a global market that, even in the current situation, continues to demand professionals all over the world.
The University of Castilla-La Mancha, through its Campus of International Excellence, incorporates the possibility of pursuing the Degree in Computer Engineering in a bilingual option, by offering a number of subjects that, during the different courses, may be taken in English. This possibility offers an ideal framework for those students who intend to achieve a high professional qualification and an even more competitive position at the end of their studies, study one year in foreign universities, etc.
Getting the Degree
To get the Degree of Computer Engineering in the bilingual option, it will be necessary to take a minimum of 40% of the total ECTS credits.
All subjects studied in English will appear in the European Supplement for the Degree in Computer Engineering.
Enrollment
To access the Degree in Computer Engineering - bilingual option, interested students must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Prove level B1 (or equivalent) of English.
- Have obtained a minimum grade of 7 (B) in the language test (English) of the Tests of Access to Degree Studies.
- Pass the entrance exam that will be carried out in September.
New students who choose to perform the bilingual option will have a period of 15 days at the beginning of each four-month period to modify their enrollment and switch to groups with teaching in Spanish. The subjects offered in bilingual option may be taken by any student of the Degree in Computer Engineering, although students who are studying the bilingual option will have priority if there is more demand than places offered.
