{"id":8831,"date":"2019-01-08T12:33:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-08T12:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esi.uclm.es\/?p=8831"},"modified":"2022-03-24T12:36:23","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T12:36:23","slug":"lanzamiento-stem_for_teens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esi.uclm.es\/index.php\/2019\/01\/08\/lanzamiento-stem_for_teens\/","title":{"rendered":"Lanzamiento STEM_for_Teens"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Google y 13 academias y sociedades espa\u00f1olas se unen para fomentar entre los j\u00f3venes las carreras STEM con el consurso #STEM_for_Teens<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Esta alianza cient\u00edfico-tecnol\u00f3gica reta a los estudiantes de Secundaria a un concurso de v\u00eddeos de YouTube para promocionar las carreras STEM en su generaci\u00f3n, especialmente entre las chicas.<\/li><li>\u00c9ste es el primer proyecto que une a 13 instituciones ic\u00f3nica de la ciencia y tecnolog\u00eda en Espa\u00f1a para la promoci\u00f3n junto a Google de la rama STEM cuya demanda de perfiles crecer\u00e1 un 14% en Europa en 2020.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Madrid, 19 de diciembre de 2018<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Hoy se lanza #STEM_for_Teens un concurso a nivel nacional en el que alumnos de 3\u00ba y 4\u00ba de ESO se convertir\u00e1n en creadores de YouTube por un d\u00eda para motivar a otros j\u00f3venes a estudiar carreras STEM (del acr\u00f3nimo en ingl\u00e9s Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Ingenier\u00eda y Matem\u00e1ticas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los alumnos, en equipos de 3 a 5 personas, deber\u00e1n grabar un v\u00eddeo de 3 minutos en el que reflexionar\u00e1n sobre las ventajas de estudiar estas carreras, en concreto de especializarse en ingenier\u00eda, matem\u00e1ticas, f\u00edsicas, qu\u00edmica o inform\u00e1tica. Este proyecto est\u00e1 abierto a todos los alumnos, pero pone&nbsp;<strong>especial atenci\u00f3n en las chicas adolescentes&nbsp;<\/strong>cuya presencia en estas profesiones es notablemente inferior a la de los hombres. De hecho, en algunas \u00e1reas como Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n representan \u00fanicamente el 12% del alumnado, seg\u00fan la OCDE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de #STEM_for_Teens es fomentar las vocaciones STEM a trav\u00e9s de los propios j\u00f3venes para que puedan reflexionar sobre las oportunidades laborales que ofrecen estas carreras. Seg\u00fan un estudio del CEDEFOP, se prev\u00e9 que la demanda de estos perfiles se incremente en un 14% en Europa para 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los alumnos tendr\u00e1n hasta el 15 de marzo para grabar sus v\u00eddeos e inscribirse en la p\u00e1gina web&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stemforeens.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.stemforeens.org<\/a>. Los proyectos mejor valorados por el Jurado, que estar\u00e1 formado por miembros de las reales sociedades y academias, recibir\u00e1n como premio dispositivos tecnol\u00f3gicos de Google que ser\u00e1n entregados en un evento que tendr\u00e1 lugar en Madrid durante la segunda semana de abril.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el apoyo de Google nace #STEM_for_Teens, una iniciativa de la Sociedad Cient\u00edfica Inform\u00e1tica de Espa\u00f1a (SCIE) compartida con la Real Academia de Ingenier\u00eda, Real Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de&nbsp; Matem\u00e1ticas, Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Sociedades de Profesores de Matem\u00e1ticas (FESPM), Real Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de F\u00edsica, Real Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Qu\u00edmica.
