Welcome to the Higher School of Informatics (ESI), University of Castilla-La Mancha. The objective of this brief digital guide is that new students have at their disposal, in a very accessible way, the most relevant information that facilitates the rapid adaptation to the center during the first weeks of the course.
For any problem you can turn to your personal tutor. You can consult your tutor in the Information, or ask at the Secretariat of the center. In addition, the ESI has a team of coordinators of title, course and intensification (itinerary) to which you can resort if necessary. Make your query to the coordinator of your course, specialty or title (bachelor's or master's degree). Do you want to know who they are?:
Degree in Computer Engineering
Master in Computer Engineering
Another alternative is the possibility of being able to count on the help of the School Management Team:
Director:
Crescencio Bravo Santos
Academic Secretary and Internationalization:
Jesus Serrano Guerrero
Deputy Director of Academic Planning and Smart ISE:
Maria Soledad School Diaz
Deputy Director of Titles and Promotion:
Javier Alonso Albusac Jimenez
Deputy Director of Employability and Social Responsibility:
Marcela Genero Bocco
Finally, you can also go to the Delegation of students of the ESI (DAI), located above the free use classroom (ALU), next to the cafeteria and accessible from the outside.
El Mentor Program puts advanced course students in contact with other new entrants and Erasmus to help and guide them in those academic, administrative, cultural or even linguistic issues that may arise throughout the academic year.
The work of the mentors involves providing academic, administrative and social information to the wards on issues related to the preparation of subjects, carrying out administrative procedures or other aspects of day-to-day life such as places to eat at affordable prices in the city . You can access more detailed information about the Mentor Program in its web page.
There is a Teaching guide for each of the subjects Curriculum and it is a fundamental means for you to get to know the teachers who teach it, the prerequisites, the justification in the study plan, their competencies, the objectives and expected learning results, the syllabus, the activities and methodology, the evaluation criteria, sequence of work, calendar and important milestones and, finally, the bibliography.
Our recommendation is that you consult the teaching guide for each subject in which you have enrolled, before the first day of class. You can consult all the guides in the Curriculum.
