Course Purpose

In this course I will explain the essentials so that you can prepare your TFG with LaTeX obtaining a professional result. In addition, you will discover how to work with LaTeX in a productive way, regardless of your usual work operating system. You will learn how to use both a local installation of LaTeX on your computer and the online editor over-leaf and even how LaTeX integrates with decentralized version control systems (Git) and cloud repositories (GitHub). As if that were not enough, all the tools that we will use are free!

Who is the course for?

This course can be taken advantage of by any member of the university community (students, PDI and PAS), whether their profile is technical or not. The only requirement is to have a computer connected to the Internet and have basic user knowledge. If you are an advanced user, you may be surprised by the LaTeX tricks you will learn.

Development and course material

  • The sessions will be held online through Teams and will be recorded for asynchronous viewing (only accessible to course students).
  • The students of the course will have “perpetual” support for doubts about LaTeX and auxiliary tools, even once the course has finished.
  • If necessary, face-to-face tutorials will be carried out.
