4th year students collaborate with AMFISA

4th year students, of the subject e-Commerce, and Professor José Jesús Castro collaborate with AMFISA (Association of the Physically and Mentally Disabled of Almagro) for the design and development of a platform that allows them to strengthen their presence on the Internet and raise funds.

AMFISA is a non-profit association founded in 1988 with a scope of action in the disability sector in Almagro (Ciudad Real). Since then it has grown until reaching the current situation, in which they work with 129 members, 64 of them affected with some type of disability and their respective families. They organize activities in different areas such as social care, physical and rehabilitative development, or space for respite and free time.

This solidarity initiative joins the several carried out in recent years by students of the subject of Electronic Commerce who learn while using knowledge to help non-profit associations begin their digital transformation, working to improve their visibility on the web and providing them with tools that help them achieve their goals. The associations with which we have already worked and collaborated are the following: AFANION, Association of Families of Children with Cancer of Castilla-La ManchaHelp Puertollano Families – Calvo Sotelo VeteransPremature Children Association "Little Fighters" of Ciudad RealVivELA Association of friends, relatives and affected by ALSSanta Agueda Association Women Affected by Breast and Gynecological Cancer of PuertollanoProtector of Animals The Welcome of Ciudad Real, the El Lucero Occupational Center in Alhama de Granada,  Recycle and Help with those affected by the La Palma volcano, or the official website of the BM Pozuelo, among other collaborations.
