Signing of a new aTurnos classroom – UCLM

On November 16, 2022, the collaboration agreement was signed between the company aTurns and University of Castilla-La Mancha for the creation of the classroomaTurnos-UCLM: Algorithms & Artificial Intelligence for the new personnel management“. Mr. José Julián Garde López-Brea appeared as representatives of both institutions as Rector of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and Mr. Pablo García Ansola representing aTurnos Solutions SL, accompanied by Mrs. Ángela González Moreno (Vice Rector for Innovation, Employment and Entrepreneurship), Mr. Crescencio Bravo Santos (Director of the Higher School of Informatics) and Mr. Jesús Serrano Guerrero (Secretary of the Higher School of Informatics).

aTurnos Solutions SL, an international technology company with headquarters in Castilla-La Mancha, understands that talent is the key element for the fulfillment of its objectives and development of its activity and that, in this variable, the UCLM plays a fundamental role through its Higher School of Informatics, not only for the incorporation of its graduates into the Company, but also as a strategic ally to configure and strengthen the areas and strategic lines of its software development activity and provision of technological services.

Under this agreement, the following types of activities are intended to be carried out:

  • Offer of scholarships or paid contracts, for training purposes, for students of the Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Engineering at the ESI of Ciudad Real or another of its centers.
  • Creation of the "aTurnos: Best TFG in Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms" award for the best Final Degree/Master's Project, awarded annually under the mechanisms established.
  • Organization of an annual day (talks, workshop, dissemination day...) on a topic of common interest to the parties.
  • Collaboration in the branches of artificial intelligence for the search for mutual financing in national and European projects
