Eduardo Fdez-Medina Vice President of RENIC

The National Network of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research (RENIC), of which the University of Castilla-la Mancha (UCLM), through the GSyA group is one of the founding members since its creation in 2016, it has renewed the board of directors last November. The new board of directors is led by Ana Ayerbe (Fundación TECNALIA Research & Innovation) as President, and accompanies him Eduardo Fernandez-Medina, director of the GSyA group as Vice President, as well as representatives of the Gradient Foundation, of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), from the University of Malaga (UMA), from the Carlos III University of Madrid (uc3m) and of ikerlan in the respective secretariat, treasury and three vowels.

This Network counts as Honorary Members with the INCIBE and CDTI and includes 25 partners representing the main research centers and other agents of the Spanish Cybersecurity research ecosystem, promoting scientific research, technological development, innovation, knowledge and technology transfer to industry and the development of projects of R+D+i in the cybersecurity sector in Spain.
