Mario Piattini in the 2022 Stanford Ranking

Professor Mario Piattini, from the Escuela Superior de Informática, appears again among the top researchers from around the world in a new edition of the Stanford Ranking (USA). The ranking is compiled from research publications up to September 1, 2022. The names of the top scientists are shortlisted based on standardized parameters, such as publications, journal impact, citations, and composite scores based on the profile of Scopus. The list includes all scientists who are between the Top 2% in all fields, according to the composite citation index.

The University of Castilla-La Mancha also has another 45 researchers in the aforementioned ranking. In addition to Mario Piattini, the list of UCLM researchers in this classification includes Octavio Armas, José M.
