The ESI gathers and honors all its directors on the 32nd anniversary

This academic year, which is about to end, we have been celebrating our 32 years of history in a special way. Our School, with the name of EUI (University School of Informatics), was created in August 1989 and the first study plan was released in October of that same year.

32 is a number with prominence in Computer Science due to the use of the binary system as a model of representation and computation in the design of computers. thirty two is two raised to five, and five have been the directors who have led the center during these years: José Flores, Francisco Ruiz, Juan Carlos López, Miguel Ángel Redondo and Eduardo Fernández-Medina.

Today we honor them by visiting the Gallery of former directors and we give them a cup Special Edition which commemorates this anniversary and all its good work over the years. Thank you for your dedication and that of your teams that have managed to place Computer Engineering in a prominent place in the training and scientific spaces of Castilla-La Mancha.
