Completion of the programming workshop with Educational Minecraft

On Friday, April 29, 2022, the second session of the Minecraft Educational programming workshop was held at the ESI, in which IES students from the province of Ciudad Real belonging to the 3rd and 4th courses of ESO, as well as 1st of Baccalaureate. The workshop lasted 5 hours divided into two sessions of 2,5 hours.

During the workshop the students learned some of the fundamentals of computer programming such as the declaration and use of variables, conditional structures, control structures (loops) and function creation. Knowledge that was applied to program the behavior of bots (software robots) producing effects in virtual worlds of Minecraft.

Throughout the workshop, the students demonstrated high learning and problem-solving abilities, achieving surprising results in the planned group competitions at the end of the workshop.

The students Francisco Miguel Ruiz Moyano and Daniel Max Samson from the Escuela Superior de Informática participated in the organization and delivery of the workshop. Through this medium we want to convey our gratitude publicly and recognize the great work done.
