On May 13, the ESI professor Francisco Pascual Romero Chicharro gave the talk Talking to my Tablet. How we interact with smart devices, belonging to the cycle of talks and workshops within the dissemination project of Linguistics and Applied Technologies LINGTEC.Ap  

In this talk, topics such as the use of the voice were addressed, not only to interact with computers giving instructions, but also to establish conversations in which information is sought and conclusions are reached. This was considered a revolution that opens up a whole spectrum of possibilities and risks in which language, its processing and its understanding play a fundamental role. The different characteristics of each language were also discussed, which will condition the way in which we will interact with the devices and understand their responses.
