On Thursday, October 1, the courtyard of the Manuel López Villaseñor Museum hosted the traditional Cadena SER Communication Awards in Ciudad Real. As a result of the pandemic, the traditional recognition gala could not be held in June.
On this occasion, the distinctions are unique and are related precisely to the effort, tenacity and dedication of professionals, entities and anonymous individuals to commemorate what has been experienced and celebrate what has been overcome. The «Communication Award for Altruism» falls on the Coronavirus Makers UCLM group. A group of anonymous volunteers and a group of professors and students from the UCLM, coordinated and with the great participation of the ESI, who, during the most serious months of the first wave, brought out the best of themselves to put it at the service of others giving a great example of solidarity.
Awards that in their XVII edition are sponsored by the Ciudad Real Provincial Council, the Ciudad Real City Council, Globalcaja, the University of Castilla La Mancha and the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce.
