Talk "The Cube of Entrepreneurship" by Senén Barro

Thursday April 18 at 12:30

On Thursday April 11, Senen Mud, director of RedEmprendia and former rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela, will help us to undertake successfully from some simple guidelines to interpret. The conference, with free admission, will be held at 12:30 in the Auditorium of the Ciudad Real School of Computing.

In his talk "The Cube of Entrepreneurship" Senén will talk about the importance of daring to undertake, the elements for the success of the entrepreneur and the opportunities in the digital economy.

According to a study axesor In 2012, in Spain there is an average of 18 entrepreneurs for every 10.000 inhabitants. The capital allocated to entrepreneurship in Spain was 7.680 million euros in 2012, which is equivalent to an entrepreneurial capital rate of 163 euros per inhabitant. The entrepreneurship ratio by Autonomous Community reflects that Madrid is the Community with the most entrepreneurs (28,05 per 10.000 inhabitants). Following are the Balearic Islands (22,87 per 10.000 inhabitants) and Catalonia (21,23 per 10.000 inhabitants). In turn, except for the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, Extremadura is the community with the lowest ratio (10,50) followed by Castilla y León (11,22) and Cantabria (11,68).

The Cube allows us to place the entrepreneur or team of entrepreneurs at one point in the same according to their attitudes, aptitudes and resources, allowing us to identify the situation they are in and possible measures to take.

The most important factors, which every entrepreneur must know, is the degree of availability of attitude, aptitude and resources. These factors answer the questions: What do we want to do? What do we know how to do? and what can we do?. By representing each of the three factors as a coordinate axis, we obtain the Cube. Probably no one has these three factors 100% developed, but this cube helps us to evaluate a project team, to decide what to do and what we need to fill the gaps and enhance the virtues.
